Having your instrument serviced by someone other than an Authorized Service Center could void your warranty, even if the job is non-warranty-related. Always make sure that you are using an authorized repair center, especially if you are the original owner. I have been getting a few cases where the owner had previously taken their instrument to be repaired, at the store at which they purchased it, only to find that they were not authorized, after work had already been done and voided the warranty.
