Victor: as I said early on in the post, this was already improperly refinished. This will surely increase the value and salability of the bass. The blue finish was incorrect on all levels. This would have only been sunburst or blonde, originally. Also, it will receive a good dose of my aging process before it's re-introcuced to the neck and will definitely not look like a "new" one. Thanks for watching!

Why Joe? Refinishing it surely makes it I distinguishable from a new one. No? Won't the value plummet?

Joe gets huge props from me for his service above and beyond expectations. I had just recently bought an Ibanez bass online as a backup and received it with one pickup that was non-adjustable. The factory guys had missed one of the pilot holes and just cranked the screw into the wood. I'd driven down from Everett, and Joe offered to do the work while I grabbed some coffee. A short while later, I was back on my way home with the bass, nicely repaired, saving me from another long drive, or worse, shipping the bass back to the vendor.

Hi Sue,

Upgrade quality tuners for a 12-string range from about $99-$300. The $99 set is actually very good. String sets are $9.99. Depending on what kind of tuners are on it now, the labor would run between $49-$79 for everything. Let me know if you're interested and thanks for calling on me.

I dropped two of my guitars off with Joe for his Deluxe Setup, I am sure I will only trust him with repairs/setups on any others. Joe's setup on my LP with a Floyd Rose was dead on accurate (those complaining on the internet that these won't stay in tune need to have Joe do the setup). The other guitar was "playable" before, but just plays and sounds so much better now!
